At our professional physiotherapy clinic you’ll benefit from a prompt flexible service which includes a professional assessment and diagnosis followed by a tailor made rehabilitation programme suited to your individual needs. 

Open to the public, students and staff our ethos is twofold; firstly to provide a professional end-to-end service where we will work with you every step of the way, and secondly to create an individualised treatment programme to help you help yourself.

Our clinic is staffed by a team of highly qualified chartered physiotherapists, with extensive experience in sport, work and musculoskeletal injury management.  It is easy to access, within the University’s Sir Ian Wood Building at Garthdee, and is supported by a range of other services including biomechanical assessment, gait analysis, fitness testing, hydrotherapy and an Imaging Suite.

If necessary we would be happy to liaise with your General Practitioner for onward referral to relevant specialist and diagnostic services such as MRI and Ultrasound scans.

Your first visit will consist of a thorough assessment to identify your problem followed by development of an agreed treatment plan, This ensures that you receive the appropriate treatment and rehabilitation. Your subsequent visits will focus on a holistic approach to treatment and rehabilitation, helping you to help yourself.

We are AXA PPP, BUPA, CIGNA and AVIVA registered practitioners. Please check with your insurance company that treatment at the clinic will be covered prior to booking.

Our Team

Our service is staffed by a team of highly qualified healthcare professionals with extensive experience in the management, treatment and rehabilitation of musculo-skeletal problems and sports injuries.

Victoria Park

Background in out-patient/musculoskeletal physiotherapy specialising in low back pain management.

Recently spent a year in private practice to gain experience in acute sports injuries/rehabilitation and soft tissue massage.

Completed a Masters in Pain Management with The University of Edinburgh in 2007 and have a special interest in the biopsychosocial aspects of pain.

Stephanie Lehane

MSc in Physiotherapy, BSc in Athletic Therapy and Training

Stephanie graduated with merit from The Robert Gordon University in 2014 with an MSc (Pre-Registration) in Physiotherapy having previously obtained a first class honours degree for a BSc in Athletic Therapy and Training from Dublin City University in 2011.

Following graduation from Robert Gordon University she began her work in private practice at Caledonian Physiotherapy Services in Perth where she saw predominantly musculoskeletal, sports and neurological conditions. During her time here she was also involved with the St Johnstone Football Club academy teams and also worked part-time as the head physiotherapist at an award winning care facility in the ‘Young Physically Disabled’ unit.

Having spent her undergraduate degree working predominantly with amateur and elite athletes in a wide variety of sports from Gaelic Games to American Football and NBA basketball she has an extensive knowledge of exercise, sport rehabilitation and sports performance. She has also completed a prestigious internship through the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania as an Athletic Trainer providing injury prevention, rehabilitation and enhancing athletic performance skills to teams at both collegiate and professional levels. She is also certified in Taping/Strapping and is a certified KinesioTaping practitioner. She has also completed courses in Neurological Assessment and treatment, anatomy and sports rehabilitation.

Her particular interests are varied and include musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, neurological physiotherapy and paediatric physiotherapy.

Crystal Reno

MSc in Physiotherapy, BSc (Hons) Pre-Physical Therapy with concentration in Physical Education, minor Biology.

Crystal completed her MSc (Pre-Registration) in Physiotherapy in 2015 having previously obtained a honours degree in Pre-Physical Therapy at Pacific Lutheran University, where as a student she was involved in Athletic Training and Strength & Conditioning.

Following graduation from Robert Gordon University she began work in the NHS where she saw musculoskeletal, neurological, medicine for the elderly and complex patient caseload. She also worked privately at RGU:Wellness Physiotherapy where she predominantly saw musculoskeletal and sport injuries, and sport performance assessments. During this time she was also involved with Aberdeen Grammar Rugby Club and Fife Football Club Academy teams.

Having spent her undergraduate degree working predominantly with the University’s athletic teams in a wide variety of sports from Basketball to Volleyball and American Football she has an extensive knowledge of exercise, sport specific rehabilitation and sports performance. She is certified in KinesioTaping, Strapping/Taping, Sports First Aid and Instrument Assisted Mobilisation.

Her particular interests are varied and include musculoskeletal and sport rehabilitation, sport performance, orthopaedics and neurological physiotherapy.

Megan Stronach

BSc Physiotherapy, First Class Honours

Megan graduated from Robert Gordon University in 2016 with a First class honours in BSc Physiotherapy. 

Since then she has been working within NHS Grampian in numerous different settings including Neuro, Elective Orthopaedics, Intermediate care, Community and MSK outpatients and thoroughly enjoying the experience of rotating through these different areas. 

Previously she was a student at the clinic working alongside Nick and Marcus and is pleased to be back.

Personal interests include swimming, trying to keep fit in the gym and raising money for charity with challenges such as outdoor swims, runs and cycles.

Currently busy gaining experiences out of work in areas such as hydrotherapy, classes for Parkinsons and ankylosing spondylitis.
