Robert Gordon University holds Part-time Jobs Fair

The University Careers Centre is holding a Part-Time Jobs Fair for all students on Friday 29 September from 11am to 3pm.

The annual event, which is solely for Robert Gordon University students, will take place during the first week of teaching at the Garthdee campus on University Street (below RGU: SPORT) and the Aberdeen Business School atrium.

Attendees will be able to find out about jobs in the retail, hospitality and the public sectors. Companies recruiting at the Fair include ASDA, Apple, Thistle Hotels, Malmaison, Tiger Tiger, The Royal Bank of Scotland and the Richmond Fellowship.

The Robert Gordon University Careers Centre is an advice and guidance service for students and graduates. It is designed to help them reach informed decisions regarding their future career, to assist them in achieving their goals and to provide a framework to enable them to cope with subsequent career decisions.

Will Ritchie Careers Consultant Team Leader at the University said:  “Part-time work experience is important as graduate employers are interested in the transferable skills that students can offer upon leaving University.  It demonstrates a student’s ability to effectively time manage between work and studies.

We would thoroughly recommend students come along to what has always been an excellent opportunity for them to start their University career with their best foot forward.”
