Application Procedure

Students interested in studying at Uppsala University will be nominated by RGU. Nominated students will then be able to apply, by submitting completing and submitting the online application form.

Once the form has been completed, students should also complete and sign an RGU Learning Agreement to send to Uppsala University. Students will also be required to submit: A Transcript of Records, A photo, And a proof of English Language capability (if a non-native speaker). These documents should all be sent to Uppsala University for consideration.  

Once everything has submitted, Uppsala University will contact the student to let them know whether or not they have been successful.

Accommodation provided

Accommodation is not owned by Uppsala University, but the Housing Office does administer a number of rooms rented through third party letters, and helps students to organise accommodation.

Average cost of rent per month

Between 3500 and 6000 SEK

Items provided in University accommodation

Depends on the residence, most rooms feature a bed, desk, side table, lamp, storage space, etc. Some residences also have a TV, bookshelves, and common room.

Depends on the residence, some residences have private bathrooms, others have shared facilities between several students.

Upkeep of the residence is the responsibility of the tenants, this includes common areas.

Other Relevant Information

Because accommodation is provided through third party landlords, the accommodation offered is placed sporadically around the city and there is no singular 'campus' where accommodation is located.
