Application Procedure

Students interested in studying at the University of Malta will be nominated by RGU. Nominated students will then be able to apply directly to the University. 

Students will need to fill out the online enrolment form, which will be sent to them from the University of Malta after they have been nominated by RGU. 

In addition to the online enrolment form, students will need to send the following to the University of Malta: Health Forms (for Health Science students), A Police Certificate of Conduct (for Health Science students) A photocopy of the students passport, A copy of the students EHIC card, A copy of the students Travel Insurance, and a completed and signed Learning Agreement.

The above documents will need to be scanned and emailed to for consideration. The University of Malta will contact the student to let them know whether or not their application has been successful.

The University of Malta does provide student accommodation, as well as advice on how to find private accommodation.

Average cost of rent per month

Between € 300,- and € 400,-

Items provided in University accommodation

Rooms include, a bed, desk, wardrobe (and other storage space), etc. It is common to share a room with another student. Most residences will also come with equipped and furnished kitchen and dining space.
