The Politecnico di Milano recommends students have a level B1 in Italian to get the most out of their exchange, however no certificate is required. Level B2 in English is recommended for English taught courses.

Application Procedure

Students interested in studying at Politecnico di Milano will be nominated by RGU. Nominated students will then be able to register online and receive a person code and password to access the online application form. 

Students will complete the application form online, and will need to submit; A preliminary Learning Agreement, A transcript of records, A portfolio, and a letter of motivation. Once everything has been sent to Politecnico di Milano students will be sent a confirmation message if they have been successful. An acceptance letter will be sent to accepted students who are applying for a visa.

Students will have to finalize their Learning Agreement when they arrive in Milan.

Accommodation is provided by Politecnico di Milano in a variety of locations near the University. 

Average cost of rent per month

Between € 350,- and € 650,-

Items provided in University accommodation

Depends on the residence, generally the room will come furnished with a bed, desk, chair, storage space, etc. A fridge will often be included in the room, and occasionally a small kitchen is included.
