Matthew has taught ceramics at Gray’s since 2017 specialising in hand thrown pottery made traditionally on the wheel. His main interests focus on ceramics made in the British Studio Pottery movement from 1920 to present day and its relationship to the Japanese Mingei movement. Matthew runs his own ceramics practice alongside working at RGU and is also a director of Ceramic Studios Scotland.
