Kelly has 20 years post registration nursing experience. She began her nursing career within medical specialties before progressing into a specialist nurse role. In 2010, following a brief spell in general medicine, she embarked upon her Advanced Nurse Practitioner training within the Out of Hours setting. During her time there, she spent 14 months seconded to supporting new ANP’s in training.
Within the last few years, she has made the transition into general practice where she maintains 2 days per week working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She also has a UK wide role as non-medical prescribing lead for a portfolio of private medical clinics.
Duties and Responsibilities
Kelly delivers teaching across pre-registration and post-registration modules. Current modules include Science 1, Prescribing for Healthcare, Clinical Examination Skills and History Taking.
