David joined RGU in September 2022 as a Communications Officer after having been a reporter in both radio and newspapers for over a decade.

His main focuses at RGU are media relations, external communications, and content development.

David is an RGU graduate having completed a Master’s degree in journalism in 2011. 

Before joining the university’s communications department he worked as a reporter for the Press & Journal and Evening Express newspapers in Aberdeen. He also worked for a radio station in Dundee.

Outside of work, David’s main interests are his family, music, and football.
