Duties and Responsibilities
Mr Little is a qualified chartered accountant, who worked in the corporate finance division at Ernst and Young before joining Aberdeen Asset Management in 1987. He initially worked on acquisitions, before moving into private equity in 1990. He oversaw the growth of the private equity business for 16 years, including a number of successful strategic acquisitions and product launches.
In 2006 he moved back in to the corporate team as Head of Acquisitions, since then he has project managed the acquisitions of certain asset management businesses from both Nationwide Financial Services and Credit Suisse Asset Management, as well as the acquisitions of Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Immobilienfonds from Dresdner Bank, Goodman Property Investors, Glasgow Investment Managers Limited and, in 2013, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP).
During his tenure as Visiting Professor, he will deliver sessions to accountancy and business management students which will give an insight into his working world.
