Duties and Responsibilities
Dr Marianthi Leon is a lecturer on Project and Construction Management within Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and the Built Environment.
Dr Marianthi Leon has a long-standing interest and extensive research experience in Collaboration Management and ICT applications to support teams’ efficiency, involving 3D scanning and HCI among others. She is a lecturer on Project and Construction Management in Robert Gordon University while being involved in a number of research projects both within academia and industry.
Coming from the built environment industry and being a registered architect, Dr Leon has expertise on three fronts:
- Managing multidisciplinary collaborations and conflicts
- The application of visualisation, 3D data acquisition and argumentation methods to support multidisciplinary teams’ efficiency
- Transferring and applying this knowledge to and from Construction/ Infrastructure and O&G industry.
