|Position:||Academic Team Lead Practice Learning|
In her role Isla is responsible for providing focused leadership to the School’s practice learning strategy across the educational portfolio. This role involves working in partnership with practice partners and providing leadership for dynamic responsive practice learning. She leads a team of Practice Education Lecturers who support students’ learning in practice.
This role also involves ensuring systems are in place to support the quality enhancement activities of the School’s practice learning environments, to ensure students have a positive learning experience.
She also contributes to curriculum delivery within the undergraduate nursing programme.
Isla has experience teaching in both pre and post registration nurse education.
