Pauline has been in her current role since 2015. She has an active role as module team member and module lead within the CYP specific pre-registration programme and a module team member within some of the pre-registration generic modules.
Prior to joining RGU, Pauline was employed as the Practice Educator based within Acute Child Health Service for over ten years. During this time, she supported pre-registration nurses in practice and newly registered Staff Nurses. She also developed and delivered core mandatory training and the Continuous Development programme for CYP post registration nurses. She also worked in partnership with education colleagues across Grampian, developing and delivering various programmes including the Staff Nurse Development Programme and the Leaders Programmes.
Her clinical practice includes clinical experience across various acute settings, caring for children and young people across the age spectrum. Specific level of expertise is within perioperative care, Accident and Emergency and High Dependency Care.
