Helen is the current programme leader for the MSc Digital Marketing course within the Creative and Cultural Business School at RGU. Helen teaches on a number of postgraduate and undergraduate degree programmes in the areas of digital communication, marketing strategy and social media.
Duties and Responsibilities
Helen has experience of teaching and supervising on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate course programmes including Digital Marketing, Fashion Management, Events Management, International Tourism and Hospitality Management.
Helen has also been involved with RGU’s Swiss partner programme in Lucerne.
Helen is currently completing a PhD in the area of Digital Marketing.
Other qualifications include: PgCert Research Methods (Distinction), FHEA, MSc Digital Marketing (Distinction), First Class BA (Hons).
Helen's main area of research focuses upon the development of blogs and social channels, influencer marketing, online consumer behaviour and digital technology. Additional research interests include: online media sponsorship and advertising, electronic word of mouth, online trust and credibility.
Helen is currently completing her PhD in digital marketing.
Helen is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
RGU’s School of Creative and Cultural Business is the first university to receive accreditation from the Scottish Innovative Student Award Scheme. A number of contemporary modules have received awards from the scheme, including Strategic Digital Communications, for which Helen Dargie is the module coordinator.
