Katie qualified with a B Nursing 1st Class Honours degree from RGU and has experience working as a Theatre Nurse in the Interventional Radiology Theatre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Katie has also worked briefly in a nursing home and was employed as a Community Nurse based at the Central South 1 Direct Delivery Team in Aberdeen.

Katie completed postgraduate modules in areas of interest, including Long Term Conditions and Mentor Preparation Programme.

Katie facilitates teaching for all stages at undergraduate level and teaches in all fields of nursing, although predominantly in Adult nursing. Katie is also involved in teaching various postgraduate modules.

Duties and Responsibilities

Katie is a Resuscitation Trainer, which involves facilitating the mandatory training sessions of Basic Life Support to all levels of students.
