Abodunrin has been primarily recruited to research one of the 15 projects funded under the Euro-Ageism consortium hosted by several universities across Europe; Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Finland, United Kingdom and Israel.
He is working on a project titled “Putting Ageism in Context: Community vs. Long-term care Oldest old”. The study will be exploring the health and well-being of frail older people in institutional care and those living independently in community settings and to relate these to self- and other-directed ageist views.
