  2. Graduate Certificate Practice Learning Qualification (Social Services)

    A course for those wishing to be involved in the assessment of social work student practice learning opportunities.

  3. Innovation Skills

    This workshop for current RGU Research Students is delivered by Professor Gordon McConnell and gives students a good grounding in innovation-related topics such as creativity, ideation, entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, technology commercialisation as well as key 21st century skills such as leadership and team development.

  4. Processes and Practice in Social Care

    This module provides an overview of skills values and knowledge that underpin professional practice.

  5. Professional Development and Practice

    This module gives an overview of the professional requirements underpinning practice in social care.

  6. Psychological and Sociological Understanding of Human Development

    This module gives an overview of ways of understanding human development across the lifespan drawing on key perspectives from sociology and psychology.

  7. The Contextual Framework for Practice

    This module provides students with knowledge and understanding of the contextual framework for practice within a range of settings.

  8. Therapeutic Photography

    This innovative module is available to any interested staff in the ‘caring professions’.
