Aberdeen Business School offers a variety of ways of studying which help to meet the variety of CPD needs of those who are already in employment.

Most of the modules on our postgraduate courses can be taken on a free-standing basis and may contribute to your own Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

    This workshop for current RGU Research Students is delivered by Professor Gordon McConnell and gives students a good grounding in innovation-related topics such as creativity, ideation, entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, technology commercialisation as well as key 21st century skills such as leadership and team development.

    This module is for aspiring and practising managers who wish to develop a deeper understanding of the key issues that affect managing people and how to communicate effectively with them.

  8. Project Management Fundamentals | Professional Development @RGU

    A multi-disciplinary, introductory module suitable for those interested in the field of project management.

  9. Protect and Prepare: Securing Your Business

    Aimed at those who have responsibility for security planning in organisations this two-day course has been developed in partnership with Police Scotland.

  10. Records Management | Professional Development @RGU

    This is suitable for those interested in an archive or records management role or with administrative experience who wish to develop their knowledge and skills. Particularly relevant to information governance issues involved in the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts.

  11. Supply Chain Management | Professional Development @RGU

    If you are just starting out in the supply chain field, this module underpins an effective balance of theory & vocational content to give you the opportunity to advance in your career.
