    Dr Goua is the Academic Strategic Lead in Biological Science at the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences. Her key research interests include Effects of nutrients (fatty acids and anti-oxidants), natural products and novel compounds on cardiovascular disease (atherosclerosis) and cancer.

    Dr Knott is a reader at the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences. Her research interests include topics such as the vascular complications of diabetes, nutrient mediated regulation of gene expression, and the treatment of cystinosis.

    Anita Weidmann

    Dr Weidmann is an Academic Team Leader and Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences. Her research interests include the applied and practical impact of these diabetes and obesity relevant to Pharmacy, the effects of flavonoid antioxidants on the regulation of TRB3 expression in hepato, adipocytes and molecular cell changes in response to changing glucose and oxygen concentrations and clinical pharmacy education

    Professor Susan Duthie is the Associate Head of School and Translational Research Lead at the School of Pharmacy and Life Sciences. Her research interests include mechanisms of action of dietary nutrients on human health, the impact of plant compounds on human health, cancer and vascular disease; and the impact of micronutrients on cancer.

His research interests lie in the areas of polymer-drug conjugates, Drug micro- and nano-encapsulation, Polyelectrolyte delivery systems and Oral protein delivery.
